What’s A FlixBus Ride Through Europe Like?

I’ve only been on one Flixbus ride through Europe so far, it was such a pleasant experience I wanted to be sure to share it with all of you. Greyhound bus lines are well known in the United States as an affordable way to get around the country.

Flixbus takes that to another level and gives you a comfy seat and free Wifi to help pass the time while crossing any one of the 26 countries they operate in.

My Experience

I was finishing up a 3-night stay in Florence, Italy and decided I wanted to do a few nights in Munich, Germany. It was a 9-hour ride with a few stops littered here and there along the route going north.

Up until this point in my trip, I had used various other forms of transport so this long bus trip through the Alps was a highly anticipated event.

The trip cost 39 Euro and really was worth every cent.

My journey started haphazardly as I tried to get on a bus going to a city I had never heard of and still can’t recall to this day.

Luckily for me, the bus driver was able to tell me that his bus wasn’t the one I needed and that I should wait a few minutes for the correct bus to show.

It was actually 15 minutes before my scheduled trip. I was just really anxious to get the trip started and a big green Flixbus showed up and I tried to hop on. A few minutes later the correct bus showed up and I boarded, found my seat, and connected to the free Wifi.

We made a few stops to pick up and drop off passengers as I watched the mountains slowly approach. They offer an assortment of drinks and snacks. I didn’t need any of these as I had bought some chips, different candies, and soft drinks at a kiosk for the all-day ride.

The ride progressed through the day without incident and we arrived in Munich just about on time. Close enough for me, within 15 minutes of schedule.

In A Nutshell

It’s quite a comfortable experience and I advise anyone that’s wandering around Europe and needs a safe, classy, and affordable trip, give Flixbus a try. They were prompt, professional and a pleasure to ride with.

I hope that gives you a better idea of what a Flixbus ride through Europe is like and you’ll consider them the next time you need a lift. Please let us know about your Flixbus experience in the comment section below!
